Soul Forged Studios began as The Soulbound Project — a passion-driven universe built around UNWRITTEN: The Awakening, a dark-fantasy saga about memory, purpose, and rebellion. What began as a single book grew into something larger: a movement to reclaim creative independence.
Years of navigating the modern publishing maze revealed a brutal truth — the system wasn’t made for creators. It was made to consume them. Algorithms buried authenticity, corporate gatekeepers muted originality, and “success” became synonymous with surrender.
So the forge was lit.
In 2024, founder Adger R. Matthews II rebranded Soulbound Project into Soul Forged Studios — a name born of transformation, endurance, and creation under pressure. The forge became a symbol of resistance — a place where stories, music, and imagination could be shaped freely, without compromise.
2025 marked the start of The Forge Initiative:
